How would you describe your work?
My work is characterized by the decomposition and the exaltation of forms, but also by the progressive breakdown of the blueprints and a touch of sarcasm when needed. I also enjoy giving several variations in intensity to the colors I use, getting with this a special result in terms of depth and value, but also an enriched art piece through the management of an unbound palette.

How do you create your work?
I always start with a sketch on paper, and then I scan and edit it in Photoshop. With this program, I draw the outline (line), which is very important for my work style, and then I fill it with color. I usually add things that I did not have in the initial sketch, but they just flow when the art piece is being worked on in detail. Sometimes I work with other materials such as aquarelle, oil painting, acrylic, spray, but the idea starts always in the pencil sketch.

He is a self-taught artist who began to draw at the age of 5. He is fanatic about creating “horrendous things,” full of dissections or characters with protruding eyes; nothing cute, actually…. He is recognized for his "gory" style. By the way, there are not many artists that follow that style in “his side of the world” (Latin America). Anyway, every piece that he makes is dazzling and stunning, not because of its cuteness but because it is so shocking…. Because we do not “make art,” we make whatever we “decide and want to do”. We give unlimited freedom to our imagination and we break with any imposed rule; we refuse to follow any predesigned road…
